SnapSellPro ("we", "our", "us") operates the website and application at snapsellpro.com and app.snapsellpro.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Email address, username, and password (hashed) when you register.
Profile information: Name, phone number, address, and shipping address you optionally provide.
Product photos: Images you upload for listing generation. These are stored on our servers and used solely for creating your listings.
Listing data: Titles, descriptions, prices, and other listing details generated by our AI or entered by you.
Marketplace credentials: OAuth tokens for connected marketplaces (e.g., eBay). These are encrypted at rest and used only to publish listings on your behalf.
Usage data: Basic analytics such as listing counts and feature usage to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account.
To generate AI-powered product listings from your photos.
To publish listings to marketplaces you have connected and authorized.
To send transactional emails (account verification, password resets).
To improve and maintain our service.

3. AI Processing

Your product photos and listing text are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and listing generation. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models. Photos are processed and not retained by the AI provider beyond the API request.

4. Third-Party Services

Anthropic (Claude AI): Photo analysis and listing generation.
eBay, Etsy, and other marketplaces: Listing publication via their official APIs, only when you explicitly authorize and initiate publishing.
Resend: Transactional email delivery.
Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions. We do not store your payment card details.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), bcrypt password hashing, AES-256 encryption for stored credentials, and rate limiting. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your photos and listings are retained as long as your account is active. Deleted listings are moved to trash and permanently purged after 30 days. You may request full account deletion by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your personal information through your Profile page. You may disconnect marketplace accounts at any time through Settings. To request complete data deletion, contact support@snapsellpro.com.

8. Children's Privacy

SnapSellPro is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
